I suspect that the Anselm Clarkson who died in Pendleton Co. KY in 1816 was b. about 1836 and was likely the son of the Anselm Clarkson b. ca 1710 whose will was probated in 1762 in VA. That could make either of them in Overton's Company in the French and Indian War, but most likely the son.
