The Clarkins from my clan, the ones who went to Australia, arrived by 1858. As they came from Virginia they surely must be related to yours. Family names were Bernard, Bridget,Bryan, Catherine, Mary, Anne. Have you seen the 1821 census for Cavan? Do you have the previous generation sorted out? We need to compare notes!
