The Henry Hatcher above is believed to be the son of either Benjamine Hatcher or Henry Hatcher each who were born about 1645 d. 1728

2 January 1715 - John CLERK buys from James CHRISTIAN land on branches of Beaverdam Creek on ns of James River, bounded by Ebonezer ADAMS, the creek, and said CHRISTIAN. 130a for 5 pounds. Witnesses were Joseph PLEASANTS, BLAWS, and Benjamin HATCHER, Jr. (Henrico Co. Deeds 1714-1718, p. 65)
Benjamine and Henry Hatcher b 1645 d 1728 were sons of Henry Hatcher b. 14 Jan 1612/1613, Carby, Lincolnshire, England, UK d. 1680 Henrico Co., VA. who married Mary Ann Newport b abt 1612.

On 1 Jun 1636, William Hatcher received a patent for land for importation of himself and three others: Benjamin Hatcher and Edward Hatcher are sons of William Hatcher

10 July 1637 - William HATCHER 850a at Appamattock River. 450a upon the Swifte Creek beginning at t little Creek lying N. W. thereon, etc. 50a allowed for a small island therein with a swamp and marshes; 400a siding upon the said land. 450a due by assignment from William CLARKE and 400a for his own personal adventure and transport of 7 persons. (Cavaliers and Pioneers, Vol. 1, p. 59)
The William Clarke above married the widow Dorothy Gardiner and while some have assumed that he was the father of William Clarke who died 1712, I believe he was of no relation as Dorothy left belongings to others when she died.

I'm not currently aware of an Elizabeth from the Hatchers.
William and Jane Hatcher did have a dau. Jane b abt 1640 who married William J Baugh who was b 1636, England UK, d. Jan 1709/1710 King William Co. VA.No Elizabeth there either. Daughters were Priscilla, Mary and Katherine.
