Hi Glen,
William seems to have arrived in Australia with no siblings and we haven't tracked a date for his migration yet. He married Anne Bryan(1844-20 Aug 1920), who also came from Dunmanaway County Cork,in Victoria, Australia in 1874. They lived in Victoria and it seems they lived in Geelong outside of Melbourne where some children were born (including my wife's grandfather James Clarke in 1876) before moving to a town called Yea north of Melbourne. He ended up a grazier or farmer. He died of Heart Disease and is buried in Cathkin Cemetry. Its actually my wife's relative and he is her great grandfather.Like you, we having great diffuclty getting Irish records in County Cork and also in County Offaly formerly Kings County for other family ancestors
