Clarke family from Dunmanway, County Cork, Ireland

Hope someone can send me in right directions. I've never been able to find ships leaving Ireland (do not know which port) in 1852 and arriving in either NYC or Canada. This is
my problem.
Goodhand Clark, Eleanor Broadfield Clark and children left Ireland accoriding to tradition and census records in 1852. With them were several children including 3-year old Eliza Anne Clark, my great grandmother.
Goodhand apparently died at sea for he never appears in any census records in USA.
There were children old enough to work on the Genesee Valley Canal in NYS and the family settled in Caneada, Allegany County, NY.
Can anyone help me? Please respond to
