The 1799 will of Frederick Clarke of Prince George's Co., Maryland mentions a daughter Willianna and a son Joshua Thomas Clarke. Was Williana the same Willy Ann Clarke, who took a license to marry William Lanham on April 4, 1814? William Lanham would remarry and die both in 1820. Willy Ann Clarke Lanham had a daughter Mary Ann Thomas Lanham, whose guardian was Joshua Thomas Clarke. Need information regarding this family. Where does "Thomas" come from? My great-grandfather was John THOMAS Lanham and a grandson of Mary Ann Thomas Lanham.
