If it helps anyone from the Clarke family I am posting this. It appears a Charles Allen Clarke who originally married a Maud (unknown) and had children with her living in Denver, Colorado in 1918---divorced--and he went to Butte Montana where he was mining. He married 2nd widow named Laura Mathilda (Poor) who had first married a John W. Perfect (also a miner). She and her sister Martha Jane (Poor) Dougherty ran a boardinghouse at 84 Montgomery St in Butte MT. In 1920 census first wife Maud Clarke in Denver Colorado with children says she is 'divorced.' Laura (Poor) Perfect married Charles Allen Clarke between Jan 1920 and Aug 7, 1923 and remained living with him in the boardinghouse. It was a short 2nd marriage for the both of them. She died Aug 7 1923 of nephritis and she is buried in Mt Moriah Cemetery in Butte MT as Laura Perfect clarke. In front of her headstone is another large headstone that just says CLARKE. I have a photo.
