Sarah, dau. of Herbert CLARKE, England, 1700's

I recently obtained the non-parochial (not Anglican parish) birth record for my ancestor Samuel KING, b. London England July 13, 1799. It gives his parents and his maternal grandfather:

Father--Thomas KING; mother--Sarah KING; grandfather--Herbert CLARKE.

So far, I have not found anything further about Thomas KING and his wife Sarah CLARKE, or about her father Herbert CLARKE. They may have been "Protestant Dissenters", as the birth for Samuel KING was registered at Dr. Williams' Library.

Is anyone else seeking these CLARKEs?

Jane Elderfield
