William Eastman Clarke and Amy E. Carpenter of Queens County (Washademoak Lake area) had a marriage bond dated 1863. They had a daughter Lillie May Clarke who married Judson Carpenter.
Does anyone have his ancestry, dates, etc.?
The following Clarke family listed in the 1851 Wickham, Queens County Parish, of New Brunswick, Canada: Alexander aged 59, Elizabeth aged 58, William aged 31 listed as a carpenter and sick, Charles aged 28, John, aged 23, Elisa aged 20, Margaret aged 17, and Unis aged 15.
If this is the right family, the following marriage is taken from the Queens County Marriages, Vol. A. 1812-1861: CLARKE, Alexander of Wickham & TITUS, Elizabeth of same. Witnesses were Thomas Creighton & James Colwell. DOes this info refer to the above Alexander and Elizabeth?
