Thank you for your response. It is possible that Cornelius may have been Sophronia's grandfather. I have not found the Sophronia name in Lucretia Harris' line, so it is possible that my Sophronia was named for her grandmother. Madison County is one of the areas that I have as a possible location for the family. My Lucretia was born in 1830 and her family could have been in that area at that time. Lucretia was born in Alabama. Her family migrated from Alabama to the Mississippi Territory, Chickasaw County, MS in the 1840's then on to Navarro County, TX in the 1850's. Lucretia did not migrate with the family. I assume that she stayed in Alabama since that is where Sophronia was born about 1852.

Thank you again for your response, this gives me an area to research. There are so many Clark's it is difficult to find the right one with so little information.
