I am trying to get info on my Clark family. I lost my family tree maker file and am rebuilding from my scraps of paper. I have never gotten past my George Clark roadblock. He was my grandmothers grandfather. She said he was killed by a train while her grandmother was pregnant with their last child, John, born in 1894. It was so painful, her grandmother never spoke of him and her mother was too young to remember him. I remember trying to find a connection between George and an Avery Clark that lived with Nathan & Emily Knapp (Below) in the 1850 census.
