1.(Unknown) Clark bn. VA abt. 1798 married Sarah (unknown)bn. SC abt. 1798.
2. Harmon Clark bn. AL (conecuh)
2. Henry (Conecuh)
2. Lewis (Conecuh)
2. Levenia (Conecuh)
2. Elizabeth (Conecuh)
Notes:
2. This family I believe is enumerated in the Conecuh County, AL 1820 heads of household, and the 1830 census under the name of Abijah Clark. In the 1830 census, the number and ages of family members fit. I have no verification though.
More Notes:
By 1840 this family has moved to Santa Rosa County Florida.
Harmon is listed on the poll of original voters in 1840 and in 1842 when Santa Rosa became a county seperated from Escambia.
By 1860 Harmon has moved back to Conecuh County. He marries Susannah Blackwell. They have 2 sons. Wilson Ashely Clark and Jacob Clark.
I have seen no further records of Lewis or Henry until I ran across your post. It is family lore that Lewis was captured during the civil war and died at a prisoner of war camp....."Camp Chase", Illinoise.
Let's talk.
