Does anyone know who the Benoni CLARKE was who married Mary, daughter of Jacob (Clawson) YOUNG, the Indian trader?

Jacob Young was active in Delaware and Maryland during the Dutch period and later, died 1696 in Cecil County MD. He owned some land at Dragon Swamp along the north side of St Georges Creek in New Castle County, Delaware, and also owned land at Carpenters Point Neck in Cecil County, Maryland, called "Clayfall" which was located at the falls of (now) Principio Creek at "Piny Creek" which is Mill Creek, somewhat above Principio Furnace where Whittaker's Iron Works later was.

Admin:
Benoni Clarke (CE) who married Mary daughter of Jacob Young was granted administration on his estate. Said Clarke was granted LoA in PA. Securities John Sequence, Thomas Whitten.
[Abstracts of the Testamentary Proceedings of the Prerogative Court of Maryland, by V. L. Skinner, Maryland, p. 196]

Here's a second abstract of the will:
Jacob Young. Sisill Co., Md. Feb. 22, 1696. Mch 20, 1696. B. 66. Three children; son, Joseph; dau Mary; Bonomy Clark intermarried to dau of said Jacob Young. Exc. dau., Mary. [A Calendar of Delaware Wills, New Castle County, 1682-1800, p. 11]

In 1697, Benoni CLARKE, along with Henry Peterson, was security for bond of Emanuel Smith who married relict of Edward Teege [[probably TEAGUE]] of Cecil Co. [Skinner, Abstracts of the Testamentary Proceedings of the Prerogative Court of Maryland, p. 16].

In January 1703/4, Benoni CLARKE was one of the appraisers of the estate of Thomas Whitton. [Skinner, Abstracts of the Testamentary Proceedings of the Prerogative Court of Maryland, I forgot to get the page number]. Maybe this Thomas Whitton was the same one who was security for Benoni CLARKE when he was admin of Jacob YOUNG's estate back in 1696.

------------------------------------------
So where did Benoni CLARKE of Cecil County come from??

There was one Benoni CLARKE, son of Capt. William CLARKE of Northampton, Massachusetts, but he was born in the early 1690's, and the one in Cecil County was an adult by then, and had married Mary YOUNG by 1696.

Apparently, Capt. William CLARKE had a brother, Samuel (b. ca 1650), who also had a son Benoni. Could that Benoni be the one in Maryland?

Benoni CLARKE and Mary YOUNG did have a son Samuel, to whom in 1714, John SEQUENCE of Cecil County "for the love and affection he has for Sam'l Clarke, eldest son of Benony Clarke of sd county" deeded 150 acres of land called Gloster at Plum Point (below Elk Landing along the west bank of the Elk River), which Samuel Clarke would have after John SEQUENCE's death. [Abstracts of Cecil County Land Records 1673-1751, by Carol Garrett, p. 85]. This John SEQUENCE was maybe the same one who was security for Benoni CLARKE when he was admin of Jacob YOUNG's estate.

Is anyone familiar with this CLARKE family? I'm looking for Benoni CLARKE's parents, and for other children he may have had.

Thanks very much.
