Some years ago I was working with another Byars researcher name Dorothy Hogwood. She Remembered seeing a land record indexed under the name of Arthur Clarke. We have not found that record again. This lady said the deed named eight of Nathan Byars children. Has any one seen that deed. She said it was a book of Abstracts in Morgan Dist.NC. If we could find that deed naming the 8 children, it would end a twenty-five year search. Several of the researchers for the family of Nathan Byars would be so very grateful.
