Samuel Clark (b 1816 MS) m Sarah Carroll

Hi, would anyone have info re the above Samuel Clark? He and wife Sarah Carroll Clark were residing in Jones Co MS 1850.

Also on the same census is listed James Carroll (b abt 1821). I think he was a brother to Sarah, and married Mary Clark, possibly a sister to Samuel.

I'm trying to locate Samuel Clark's parentage, pondering if my 4th great-grandmother, Mary Stewart/Griffin/Clark may have been his mother. There was an elder Samuel Clark with property in Greene and Perry Cos MS 1820. My Mary was thought to have been in that area at the same time.

PS Please note: there were two Samuel Clarks listed on 1850 Jones Co MS census, the other Samuel was born abt 1823-25 married Sarah Creel. I have noted they have been confused with one another.
