The 1850 Census for Johnson Co. IN was the only one where I could find Archibald.
There are entries in the LDS site but do not give any more information except for parents names and date of Archibald & Susan's deaths.Also some one has posted a "Tree" that shows children other than those on the Census, but no source for the information. Nevertheless, I will list those children for you because they might help you find other information.
So older children not on 1850 Census are shown as:
Sarah Annis Clark b. 1824, Elizabeth Ann Clark b. 1826, Sarah Jane Clark b. 1828 (I doubt that this is correct), William Alexander Clark b. 1830, and Mary Ann Clark b. 1832
LDS site shows birth date of 1800 for Archibald and 1805 for Susan. It shows her name as Susan Wishard Alexander and marriage date of 14-19-1823 in KY. It shows his parents as Alexander Clark b. 1770 and Sarah Glenn b. 1778.
It shows date of death for Archibald as 29 June 1856 in Indianola, Warren Co, Iowa, and Susan as June 9 same year and place. You might want to look at this site as there were 3 or 4 different ones who submitted the information so they may be related to you.
