The Cyrus Clark of Dansville on the 1850 census doesn't list a son Ryerson Clark b. 1835, and there was only one male child listed on the 1840 census as 5-10. This was probably Russell.
1850 census - Cyrus Clark 42, Mary 29, Russell 18, Laura 15, Clarissa 13, Lucy 10, and Cyrus Jr. 1.
Hartsville was formed in 1844 from Hornellsville. The 1840 census lists a Lewis Clark in Hornellsville with two males 0-5, and one 5-10.
1850 census Hartsville - Lewis Clark 42, Mary 30, Russell 15, Joseph 13, Stephen 11, Henry 9, Alburtus 7, Daniel 5,
Mary 3, Melvin 1.
On the 1870 census, Alburtus Clark has a son named Ryson.
Cyrus lists place of b. as Mass, and Lewis NY.On the 1880 census, Ryerson lists his father as being b. in NY.
I would lean towards Lewis's son Russell, as also being Ryerson, brother of Alburtus.
