GARDINER -- Harry H. Clark, 93, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at Augusta Rehabilitation Center, Augusta. Harry was born on Aug. 9, 1912, in Harrison, Neb., the son of Edgar and Nancy (Horton) Clark. He worked at Peter Cooper Glue Factory in New York, Tri-County Memorial Hospital in New York and Gardiner General Hospital in the housekeeping department. Harry was a past master of the Cobbosseecontee Grange 100 in West Gardiner. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling and being with family and friends. Harry was predeceased by his parents; wife Violet (Hill) Clark, in 1999; sisters Hazel Sloat, Charlotte Wilcox and Florence Bensen; and brothers Albert Clark, Orin Clark and Clyde Clark. He is survived by daughter Delene Jarvi and husband Carl of West Gardiner; brother Edgar Clark of New York; granddaughter Nancy Jarvi of Gardiner; grandson Jason Jarvi of West Gardiner; and great-grandchildren Kyle, Ryan and McKenna Johnson, all of Gardiner. Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Highland Avenue Methodist Church, Gardiner, with funeral services starting at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Fairbanks Cemetery, West Gardiner.
