Bea, This is what I've got on Caleb Clark, born 9 Oct 1794 in SC. Died 11 July 1857 Talladega Co AL, buried Concord Baptist cem in Clay Co AL. Served in the war of 1812. Should be some documents to get from that service which may give his parents names. He was in census of 1830 in Hall Co GA with 4 males listed and 2 females. In 1840 census of Cobb Co dist 942 with 2 sons and 3 daughters plus wife. He married Mary Mullins who was born abt 1804 KY on 14 Sept 1828 in Hall Co GA. Children were: Rosalie, Willie B, Nancy Clara b 1827 GA or TN, John born 1 Feb 1829 Cobb Co GA, Mary Ann b 4 Jan 1831 GA, Rebecca A. b 1836 GA, Wm Scott b 18 Mar 1839 GA, Susan b May 1840 GA or AL, Jessie F b 16 Oct 1841 GA married Elizabeth Manilla Dempsey, Leonidas Henry Clay Caleb b 22 Sept 1842 Flat Rock, Talladega later Clay co AL.,married Parthena Goode,Julia Ann b 25 June 1845 AL and James Marion b 1850 AL. There is a Caleb Clarke in Fairfield SC with several children he age 50-60 which could be some relationship to your Caleb. If I find a connection to my James from Old Pendleton dist SC I'll let you know. I believe my James comes from the Micajah Clark line. Regards. Ellen
