Jacob P.'s wife Hellen is listed in the IL marriage index with a maiden name of Clapsattle. The elder Jacob is a g-grandson of Andreas Klebsattel of German Flatts, Herkimer Co., NY; gandson of Andrew, and son of George A. Jacob P(eter) is Jacob's son.
The question is "Is Hellen the daughter of William?" Is William part of the NY Clapsaddles, hence a cousin to the Jacobs? If so, which son of Andreas is he descended from? I have not seen any references to this William although the IGI lists his middle initial as "A" and does assign Hellen as his daughter.
