I am searching for information on Catharine Clapsaddle who married Anthony Miller ca 1775 and lived in Frederick County Maryland. Her birthdate of April 28, 1752 matches the birthdate of Catharine daughter of Michael and Catharine (Bardt) Clapsaddle of York County, PA. Would like to find positive proof that this is the same Catharine.
My Miller family records show her maiden name as "Clafsatlerin" which I assume is a German interpretation of the name.
My branch is through Daniel Miller born 1791 in Frederick Co MD (married Elizabeth Shucke in 1812) and removed to Seneca Co OH ca 1830. Will be glad to share what information I have on Daniel Miller's descendants.
