It helps but raises one big question, if I am reading this right you are showing EMMA as the daughter of Nicholas & Elinor Clapsaddle. If so by the age given in the census she would have been born some 36 years after there first son William. As I said in my first message I have EMMA m. to NICHOLAS SETTER in the 1900 census. She gives her birth date as June 1876 age 26 in MI-NY-CANADA m. 2 yrs, 1 child WILLIAM 1yr old. On the next line is listed CECIL CLAPSADDLE b. Sept 1884 15 yrs, in MI-NY-CANADA, brother-in-law, next line WILLIAM CLAPSADDLE b. Nov 1843 56 yrs, WD, NY-NY-Unkown, FATHER-IN-LAW. This tells me her father is WILLIAM not NICHOLAS, unless there are two EMMA'S.
if you have access to the census they are in the 1900 Michigan, Sanilac Co., Flynn Twp, E.D. 128 Page 3B, or ancesrty.com Image 6, or Roll# T623-743, Image 249 Line 78 as NICHOLAS SETTER. Thanks Al
