I guess we don't match. My line of Clapps' were definately in England until 1867.

There are several lines of Clapp's here in Massachusetts including a Roger Clapp in the town where I live.

I remember seeing a Clapp gravestone in the cemetery in Boston where Paul Revere was buried. It was of a female Clapp and she had an unusual first name. We haven't done the Freedom Trail since we moved up here (did it as a tourist) but if you want us to check it out we will.

On the church picture, if it was taken here in MA, it might be the town of Sudbury, not Sidbury. Only thing is that Sudbury in not near Northampton and is about 20 miles west of Boston.
