I have finally traced my family back to Berrow, Somerset England. From the 1851 census of the area, we learned that Charles Clapp and his wife Mary Anne had seven sons.
Albert, age 14
James, age 12
Joseph age 10 (my great-grandfather)
Charles, age 7
Edwin, age 5
Sidney, age 3
Walter, age 1

Now that I have learned of these people, I would like to see if any of Joseph's siblings have descendants researching this line and are willing to share information, (limited that I have).
