I found the record of marriage in jenny Lind, Sebastian Co. AR. September 1887. Athey was listed as 15 so she was probably born in 1872-73. I found her on the 1880 census in Logan County AR with her father and mother listed as BS Clapp age 35 and Mary Jane Hackney age 23. There are two younder sons with the older born in AL and the younger born in TX. I wonder if the wife in this family was Athey's mother or stepmother because of the ages. Athey was born in Marshall County, AL
