Clapps in London traced to Devon (UK)

I have just stumbled into this site. I have some British Clapp family data as I have traced the origins of the Clapps who live in London (my home town) back to their roots in Devon/Somerset. I will post detailed info soon, but it is thought that all the Clapps living in England trace their origins back to the Axe valley and possibly from one Osgod Clapa, a Dane mentioned in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle who migrated here with King Cnut's court in the 11th Century and is reputedly buried in Devon.
