John CLAPP b.1828, in Tx. married Eliza Y. b.1837 in Tn. They had Lucinda, Elisha, Nancy, David, Mary, John, Eliza & George in Tx. I was told they were Choctaw Indian but have no proof of this. Elisha married Josephine SMITH b. in Louisiana, whose mother was from France. They moved to Pontotoc Co., Oklahoma.
Does anyone recognize these folks??? I'd love to know more. Thanks.
