Rhonda, my g.g.g. grandmother was Mary Clapp, b. 1806, sister of Adam Clapp, b. 1808. Do you have any information on her birth (location, etc.). I have her parents names - John Clapp and Sally Loy, but I have never found any verification of her birth, nor that she is related to this family.
She supposedly was born in Madison Co. Ala., but they don't seem to have records.
She married my g.g.g. grandfather William Snow, b. 1803 in SC. I can't find him in Ala. although he may have llived with someone at the time. Thanks Doloros
