I know I am responding to an old post but I was surfing the net searching information on the Clapp's just to see what came up and I ran across your post. I was born and raised in Alamance county, NC and I'v heard the name Lula Clapp before at the family reunions. I was wondering if you were still searching for information, if so I can inquire to my grandmother to see what I can find out for you.
