I do not have any information regarding your question, but I thought I'd share some recent information that I came upon in case it is of interest to you. A friend was using a book (which I believe is on-line) and it referenced Jane Clap and George Weekes and their son, Joseph and his wife Mary. The book is "The Belville Family of VA, GA, FL .." by Mrs. Agnes Belville Vaughn Tedcastle. In the portion I am referencing, it tells about Major-General Humphrey Atherton's ninth child, Mary, and her marriage to Joseph Weekes, son of George and Jane (Clap) Weekes. Jane Clap was the sister to Roger Clap of Dorester, which is our line.
