Yes, Alanson was the son of Aaron of NY, son of Aaron of Easthampton MA, son of Roger of Northampton MA, son of Preserved of Northampton, MA, son of Capt. Roger Clap of Dorchester, MA. The latter is buried in the Kings' Chapel Burying Ground in Boston.
