My husband is descended from the Clapp family here in Massachusetts. They settled very early in the 1630s in Roxbury. There were three brothers and one cousin that came. I will see if we have any information on Elizabeth Clapp circa 1815. I know Jim has done extensive research on his line of the Clapp family.
