i'm looking for info. on the clapp family from the boston area. it is my understanding that they owned an estate, possibly in roxbury. elizabeth clapp(b.1815)was a
nurse,don't know husband's name. their dtr. anna married andrew newman and they had 3 children, one of which was my gr.mother josephine, who married edwin h. dyer. i'm anxious to learn more about this family.
