Matilda Clapp was the daughter of John Isaac Clapp and Sarah Loy. She was born about 1810 in Madison Co. AL and died before 1837. She married Bluford Gore about 1831. They had the following children:
1) Alexander Gore, born 1832
2) Malinda Gore, born 1834
3) Catherine Gore, born 1836
Would like to correspond with any descendants of Matilda Clapp and Bluford Gore. Will be glad to share any family information that I have. Charlotte G. Boykin
