wife of John Philip Clapp (1731-1798)?

John Philip Clapp (1731-1798) was married to a Barbara. Many thought the Barbara was the daughter of John Ludwig Clapp, however that Barbara was married to Daniel May per the will of John Ludwig Clapp.
Does anyone have a more recent idea?
