The CLAPP-CLAMP family of Newberry Co., SC, believed to be related to the NC German CLAPP family, has been participating in a Y-DNA surname project. Although the results have been surprising, it has certainly been a worthwhile project. It is through Family Tree DNA.

Out of the first four tests, there were three different results:
J2
E3b1
R1b1

We are awaiting more testing/results.
