Henry Clapp b. Nov. 18th, 1817 Wethersfield,CT. Settled in Livingston Co., NY in 1840. His wife was Hannah J. Herrick b. Aug. 11th, 1824 Springwater, Livingston Co., NY. They were married Dec. 24th, 1873. One child:

1.Edwin A. Clapp

One step son: Scott A. Farley

His father was Norman Clapp who served in the War of 1812. His grandfathers were in the Revolutionary War.

Her father was David Herrick who settled in Livingston Co., NY in 1814 with his father, and three brothers.
