Adrian Daily Telegram, Mon. Dec 31, 2007, pg A2 Otis Clapp Obit CLAYTON — Otis Clapp, age 92, of Clayton, passed away, Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at his home. He was born Jan. 30, 1915, in Adrian, to George and Maude (Johnson) Clapp. Otis served in the U.S. Army. On October 18, 1947, he married Glennivee Avis Kellogg and she survives. Otis was an engineer with Stubnitz & Greene until his retirement. He was a member of the Morenci American Legion Post #368. Otis loved carpentry and building models. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Carl Clapp of Clayton; one daughter, Iris Lee Clapp of Clayton; one brother, William Clapp of Mountain Home, Alaska; one sister, Janice Long of Tecumseh; two grandchildren, Shonda Kruse and Sarah Clapp; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan Clapp, Gabrielle Kruse and Thompson Kruse. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Irving Clapp. Funeral services for Otis will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, with full military rites conducted by the Morenci American Legion Post #368.
