Sorry I did not see your follow up message of 27 Feb 99 until today. Some questions I have are:

1. Why did Earl Bourne Clapp move to Abingdon VA?
2. When did he arrive in Abingdon?
3. Did he live in Rochester MA immediately before moving to Abingdon?
4. Was he a surgeon in the War of 1812?
5. Did Increase Clapp move from Scituate MA to Barnstable MA?
6. If so, when?
7. If so, why?
8. When did Increase and Elizabeth Bursley move to Rochester MA?
9. Why did they move?
10. Who was the mother of Increase?
11. It appears that although Ebenezer Clapp was born in Rochester, he married Mary Winslow in Harwich MA on 9 Mar 1726. Her children were all born in Rochester, according to my sources. I have no information, however, as to when and where she died. Can you supply this information?

Thanks

Jere Turner
