My sources as to wives of Thomas Clapp b 1609 co Devon Eng d 1684 Scituate, Plymouth co MA are purely secondary.

In Walter Goodwin Davis, Ancestry of Joseph Neal (Portland ME:Southworth-Anthoensen Press 1945), the author says Thomas Clapp had 3 wives, names unknown.
He says that Increase Clapp b 1640 d 1716 was a c of w2.

In Early History of Weymouth [cite temporarily misplaced] it is stated that w1 was named Abigail _______ [possibly Wright] b 1620 d _____.
