I have more recent information on this CLAPP line.
Solon CLAPP b in VT married Rhoda ?. They are found in Angelilca, Allegany County, NY in the 1870 census. I was able to find out with other information he was employed at a saw mill. Others listed in this census are his wife, Rhoda, and children George, Mary and Lucy who are in school.
George eventually married Idell Franklin. Their son Faber is found in the 1930 census living in West Brighton, Richmond County, NY ( this is staten island)Faber is married to a woman Minnetta b in NY with one daughter Dorothy who is a student in 1930.
Is this line a part of any other searcher's family? Plese contact me if you can help.
