My great-grandparents were James V. Clapp and Sophia Alice Boles.
James (1852-?)was from Clark County, Indiana, the son of William Clapp (1826-1888) and Catherine Amick ( 1830-1886).
Sophia Alice(1854-1914) was from Scott County, Indiana. James V. & Sophia Alice were married Oct. 15, 1883.
They had three children. Jesse (1881-1917) that married Mary Hardin Long in 1904, another child that had died by 1900, and a third child that was still alive at the time of 1900 Census.
Looking for anyone related to or having knowledge of the James V. and Sophia Alice Boles Clapp family. James and Sophia Alice are buried in the New Bethal Cemetery in Jefferson co., IN
