Christopher, thankyou for your response,I m searching for a birthplace for Thomas Weeks Clapp. Born according to burial details,1748.He married a Barbara Cunningham 1756.He lived in Cornwall after his marriage, and had Four children (a Son and three daughters.we do not seem to be able to trace either of them ,before the marriage. We know he served in the Royal Navy at the time he married,1780. he was a Gunner and Officer, but as we do not know of a ship name, are unable to trace him, through Navy records, unfortunately.

Thankyou Patricia.
