Hi Lauren,
From the information I had before, it was thought that Robert Clanahan had six children. It's beginning to look like he may have had a few more than that. His son William is my line.I recently discovered the Sarah L.(Davis) Clanahan mentioned in the will of Eli Davis, her father. At this point I did't know which of Roberts three other known sons Sarah was married to.I later found court records that indicated that Sarah was the heir of an Edward Clanahan. He had not been listed as one of Robert's children but in the 1820 Pendleton District, S.C. census he was living near both Robert and William and was in the same age group (16-26) as William.
I'm not sure if this is your sarah or not?

In one of the court items a Harriet was mentioned:

This one is pretty much of a long shot as far as the Harriet you are looking for, but you would think they are related somehow if they are all heirs?
Are you researching the Clanahan family or the Hunnicut & Hubbards? Are all three people you mentioned in your posting related? Are they in the same family unit?I'd like to know more about them also.Maybe you could e-mail more info about them and I can include them in my research time at the library and swap info. There is an Abigail Hubbard in my file but she married a Castleman, which is a big branch an my mother's side of the family.
I have traced William's line and am now just starting to research his parents and siblings, of which I know almost nothing. It was mentioned that Robert was the first Clanahan in America and I now believe he may have been the only Clanahan ever to have come to this country. I've taken the approach that all the Clanhans here are his descendants and so far all that I have found have been.
Well, hope this helps with what you are looking for, I know it's not much.
Mike Guill
