I have his will and from what I can deciper from it, he left Sumner county Tennessee about 1827 and the later died in Illinois about 1832. I come from William Clampitt son of Johnathan Clampitt and am trying to figure out how they all fit together. Do you have any idea who (meaning Clampitts) were in Sumner County or Wilson county in the early 1800?
