Hi, my name is Paul Clampitt. I am a great grandson of Ida Bell Clampitt Flinn Breedlove(1875-1958) Ida had a son born out of wedlock. His name is Frank Wesley Clampitt.(01-23-1894)He died on 09-09-1979. Frank married Anna Josephine Bauer on March 17th, 1921. They had a son, Robert Eugene Clampitt. Robert was born on April 22, 1928. He is still living. He was born in Bedford, IN. We never knew the name of Frank's Grandfather. I would like to know more about the Clampitt's. I am just getting started in genealogy. I have other information to share. Were there any Clampitt's in the Spanish American War? My father has a photo of a man in a Spanish American War uniform, but no name to go with it.
