Does anyone know if the Waldo M. Claflin who moved from Massachusetts to Philadelphia during the Civil War and became a shoe manufacturer is the same Waldo Claflin who went briefly to the war as the servant of an officer of the 16th Massachusetts. I am writing a book about the officer, Powell Wyman, and am trying to track down Claflin. Many thanks for any help. Mike Flagg
