Hi,

I don't have any knowledge of these people, but I looked on the censuses. In 1850 there is a Willaim Clabaugh family only 2 pages before the Owen family. On the 1860 census William Clabaugh is dead (He died in 1859) and there is no longer a son Jacob who would have been 23.

On the 1870 census Isadora is living with Sarah J (Owen) Wood and husband Moses as adopted daughter. Possibly she might be the daughter of Sarah J. and a Clabaugh boy, my guess would be Jacob who may have died as did William.

Just a thought.

Linda
