Check this out: This Band of Heroes by James M. McCaffrey, a history of Granbury's Brigade (6th, 7th, 10th Texas Infantry and 15th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25 Texas Cavalry) Published by Texas A&M Univ. Press, College Station, Texas. Includes complete original muster rosters and campaign information. One of my g-grandfathers and two of his brothers served in 17th. Confederate pension records are in Texas State Archives. Check to see if any of your ancestors applied for a pension. Good luck.
