Phil, thanks for answering.Check out the response I got from Nick Rosen, his ggggrandfather was captured also on the 3rd of June, 1864 at Cold Harbor.My ggrandfather was captured on the 2nd of June that same year in Gains Mills, VA, but, according to the records I have received from the National Archives, he was reported missing at Cold Harbor on the 1st of June, 1864 confined at Richmond, VA and taken to Andersonville GA. on the 8th of June. Depending on how you read it, at the time he was either 21st, 36th or 56th MA. Volunteers!
